It won't just be high schoolers that take the stage to perform at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at South Middle School.
The Henderson County High School Wind Ensemble, the premiere group in the Henderson County band program, will perform with the University of Evansville Harlaxton Woodwind Quintet.
The Harlaxton Woodwind Quartet is comprised of woodwind faculty from the University of Evansville and the principal players in the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra.
The woodwind quintet will perform in the first half of the concert with the wind ensemble playing their four pieces following two short performances by the percussion ensemble.
Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students. Preschool children will be admitted at no charge.
The Tuesday concert is in preparation for the 2009 Kentucky Music Educators Conference in Louisville. The wind ensemble was chosen to perform there in February.
Tuesday's concert will be for friends and family who may not be able to travel to the Louisville performance.
